Teacher Development Series with Jim Coughlin Sat, Aug 25, 2018 at 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm
"Planning a class - building your teaching practice"

Description:

Planning a class is more than just putting together a sequence of poses.   While sequencing is important it's only one aspect of how you - as a teacher - will communicate the "Big Idea" that you want to impart to your students.

In this workshop we will explore how to plan your classes so that your "message" gets across.

We will also discuss "how to build your teaching practice" by using proven teaching methods and techniques that helps your students - and classes - grow!

Make your classes more enriching, and fulfilling for both you and the students, and get your "Big Idea" across in effective ways.

Registration Requirements:

Only existing yoga teachers (DTY or Yoga Teachers from other locations), subs, or graduates of a 200hr RYT program or higher are eligible to attend.

Teacher: Jim Coughlin - E-RYT 200

When: Saturday - August 25, 2018 - 1:30-4:00pm

Class Fee: $25 for existing DTY teachers, $45 for all others.
